Whether it be helping my friends work successfully through AP Physics C problem sets in high school or teaching a linear algebra concept to a friend for a college class, I have, in various informal situations, helped many others better understand important course material and better implement methods of problem-solving. I have taken all mathematics courses in the typical middle school and high school sequence, viz. pre-algebra, algebra I & II, trigonometry, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus BC, multivariate calculus, & AP statistics, and college-level intro. probability/stats and linear algebra withal. I had a successful high school career during which I was designated by the College Board first as a AP Scholar with Distinction and as a National AP Scholar later. I take particular pride in my talents as a writer and reader with an eye and ear for the English language. I currently exercise this proclivity as an editor for my university's undergraduate research journal. I readily accept opportunities to improve anyone's understanding of the mechanics of English or its implementation in writing. In addition to the many AP exams, I took the SAT twice in my junior year but did not take the ACT except as part of the compulsory Prairie State Examination.
